Who is store*four?
In the 1980's Ellen began her creative-business endeavors - She needed to stand on a stool to reach the counter at her grandparent's store, Wakefield Liquors - but this is where it all began! She used big, giant, colorful markers to decorate brown paper bags. Customers loved her artwork - her grandfather would even suggest they save these special bags incase Ellen became famous!
Ellen went on to study art and business at Muhlenberg college. With her art and graphic design background and prior retail experiences she and her mom composed the idea for store four. Having learned to love the art-form of entertaining from her mom, Ellen knew that this is would be the perfect focus for the store. Together Ellen and her mom choose items that they love and would use in their own homes. In fact, many people remark of the fixtures used to display the products in store*four. The beautiful antiques were once in her mother's dining room. When you're shopping in store*four you will feel like you're visiting our home getting a sneak-peak into our cupboards!
Store*four is a boutique that transcends the ordinary. At store*four your shopping experience is meant to mimic that of being a guest in our home - We have opened our antique cupboards and decorated our tables to showcase items hand-chosen using our philosophy to chose what we love. "store*four a lifestyle experience" is a destination, welcome!

We are located beside Wakefield Liquors in Dale Carlia Shopping Center.
673 Kingstown Rd Wakefield RI.
We have ample parking. There are a few spots in front of the store and plenty in the back. You can also park in front of Wakefield LIquors and walk around the corner!
store four is the fourth business in my family.... We are also located in the fourth "store front" in the building- A building that my grandfather and great-uncle designed.
The year that store*four was completed, a 90th birthday party celebration took place in the store for Mr. Costanza. His grand-daugher, who once needed a stool to reach the counter at the family business, was now the proprietress of this beautiful store. He was very proud, once again!
